Important 1st To Know Update and OnePlace Contacts Unsubscribe

Important 1st To Know Update!

We’re now running a second  IDX data feed later in the evening  to provide better service to our 1st To Know recipients. New listings entered in or edited before 7:00 PM will now be sent to your 1st To Know contacts and display on our websites the following morning.

There are two different emails that you may receive from the OnePlace Contact Management System.

The first one, listed below, is sent when one of your registered Auto Send Market Reports contacts selects the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of the Market Report emails. This action actually unsubscribes them from the auto market report plan so they will no longer receive the reports. You don’t have to do anything when you receive these. The contact is unsubscribed by selecting the link.

From: CustomerCare [at] RealEstateOne [dot] com Date: February 29, 2012 9:45:52 PM EST To: xxxxxxx@aol.com Subject: Xxxxx Xxxxxx  has unsubscribed from the Market Report

Dear Xxxxx,
Xxxx Xxxxxx has unsubscribed from the periodic Market Report mailing.
Thank you,
Real Estate One Family of Companies

The second one is when one of your OnePlace contacts receives a message from you that isn’t part of an automated plan. For example, a one time custom email that you send out. Here’s an example of what one of these messages looks like.

From: CustomerCare [at] RealEstateOne [dot] com [mailto:CustomerCare [at] RealEstateOne [dot] com] Sent: Wednesday, February 08, 2012 4:57 PM To: xxxxxxxxxxxxx   Subject: Albert and Rachel Xxxxxxx has unsubscribed from a mailing

Dear xxxxxxx,

Albert and Rachel xxxxxxxx has requested that they be unsubscribed from receiving marketing emails such as the xxxxxxxxxxxxx email you recently sent. It is your responsibility to honor this request.

Thank you,

Real Estate One Family of Companies

Since there isn’t really a plan to unsubscribe from, the message is basically saying that they do not want to receive messages from you.  When you receive these messages, you will need to either remove the contact from your My Contacts list in OnePlace or switch the two drop down menus next to the contacts email address to “NO” in the contact profile. (see example below)
