The RealEstateOne.Net Document Downloads Site Upgrade

We are in the process of updating the RealEstateOne.Net Documents Downloads site. On Tuesday (Sept. 7th) we will be adding the ability to display a PDF preview when mousing over a document  link. Instead of having to Open or Download a PDF to see what it contains you can simply mouse over the link. It will only work on our PDF documents, but the majority of the documents on the site are PDFs. The first time that you view the file it could take a few seconds to create the preview image but thereafter it will be retrieved immediately.

Mobile Apps For Agents

I’ve gathered up links to some great mobile apps for real estate professionals from across the web. The rate of mobile app development has been incredible and the mountain of app choices can be a little overwhelming. I do my best to keep up with  the apps that most affect our industry and to share that information with all of you. If you have your own set of favorite real estate specific apps that you use that are not included here, please share them with us. Just send me a quick email and I will add them to my next blog post.

QR Codes for Real Estate

This is a great post that I just had to pass on concerning QR codes for Real Estate. The company that is spotlighted, Qonnect, creates custom mobile sites for agents, which we all already have with our WebOne sites but the article and video contain some great real estate specific uses for QR codes.  QR Codes for Real Estate – Qonnect

Too Many Passwords

Agents have complained to me for years that they have to remember too many passwords. I have always responded to this complaint with the same answer, “You can actually write them down”.  Now there’s another alternative. Check out how LastPass may be the last password that you’ll ever need to remember.
