Office Sales Meeting Technology Training
First, I would like to announce to all office managers that I am starting my office sales meeting training tour again. I would like to try to visit each of your offices at least once a year.
I would like to do a general presentation on Current Real Estate Technology Trends and Our Company Technology Programs and Services during your sales meeting.

My goal is to reach more sales associates than our webinars and Central Office In-Class Training has been able to do by bringing the training right to their office door step. I would also like to promote and encourage our agents to use the office eMC’s for training and support. The plan would be to educate and motivate our sales associates and have the eMC’s follow up with support and training on everything that I discuss.

Real Estate Technology Simplified
I launched a new blog series on the Scott’s Tech Tips blog called Real Estate Technology Simplified.
I posted a list of the most important programs, devices, websites and web applications available to our sales associates today. I ordered the list from Beginner to Advanced so that they could find order in all of the chaos and hopefully see that there is a path that can be followed.
I am going to be doing an individual blog post on each and every one of the items on the list starting with the beginner side and working my way down to the advanced. I’ll break down each topic and cover what it is, why it’s important, what they should know about it and where they can access additional training on it.
I would like to ask for the support of all of our office managers and eMC’s on this project. What I would love to see is each topic being discussed at your office sales meetings as I post them. I would like to have our office managers give our eMC’s the chance to present each topic to everyone at a weekly sales meeting. I will be posting each of the topics to our sales associates on the Scott’s Tech Tips blog and I will also be posting a version on the office blog that will include any special talking points for the eMC’s, detailing exactly what they should be discussing at the meetings.
My goal with this series is to first show our sales associates that there is an order or levels of difficulty in all of the currently available technology. This should help to relieve some of the stress associated with the volume of available programs and services.
Secondly I would like to help our sales associates find the holes in their knowledge of the programs and services that they may be “just using” but not using to their full potential.
Thirdly, I hope that this series will initiate some discussions in your sales meetings on each of the topics. These discussions should encourage our sales associates to share their ideas, suggestions, questions or problems with their Managers and eMC’s who can then pass them on to me. This information can be used to develop new classes, webinars and video tutorials to help our sales associates become more effective with their use of technology.
