What list? The only list – Craigslist

by Scott Gaffan on December 11, 2009

Attracting more than 20 billion page views per month, Craigslist.org is a centralized network of online communities, featuring free online classified advertisements with sections devoted to jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, gigs, resumes and discussion forums.

Real Estate One automatically posts your listings to Craigslist but the listing only lasts 30 days and it is not reposted. Posting your listings to Craigslist exposes them to an amazing amount of potential clients and it’s absolutely free.

Adding a basic listing to Craigslist is a fairly simple process.

Go to http://detroit.craigslist.org

Choose post to classifieds.

Choose housing offered.

Choose real estate – by broker.

Choose the county that the listing is located in.

Create your post.

Registering for an account will allow you more options making it easier to post multiple listings and to repost listings.

Entering listings through the “post to classified” section will give you a very basic looking listing but there are numerous third party vendors that offer templates that will allow you to post a custom real estate flyer for each listing instead, check out the links below.

Manually entered posts last 45 days but a lot of agents repost their listings every 7 days to keep them fresh and to attract  more inquiries.
