Macomb county listings on the REO Family of Companies web sites

Welcome to my weekly Tech Tips! I am starting a series of weekly tech tips to help you in your business. If you have suggestions for upcoming tech tips, please feel free to email me with those suggestions.

I often get the question, why isn’t my listing appearing on my web site? A listing will not appear on your web site under the following conditions:

  • A listing in Macomb County that is listed only in Realcomp and not MiRealSource. It must be listed in the MIRealSource MLS for it to appear on RealEtateOne.com if it is in Macomb County.
  • A listing in anything other than Macomb County that is entered into MiRealSource but not Realcomp, will not appear on our sites.
  • If the agent lists the property in Realcomp and then lists it in MIRealSource under a manager’s account, the listing will come up on the RealEstateOne.com site with the managers contact information and will link to the managers WebOne site.

In these cases the agent can enter the listing into the site manually via the Real Estate One Listing Manager found on the RealEstateOne.net site.  If the listing is entered manually, make sure that you choose Other from the drop down menu titled MLS Board.  Also, all listings that are manually entered will have to be manually maintained by the agent ( price changes, photos, status changes etc.) so please do not forget to come back and mark the property Sold or Off Market when appropriate. For further training on this topic, ask your office staff for a copy of the CD Tutorial and review the Listing Manager section or visit one of my classes (enroll at reoacademy.com).

Thank You!

Have A Great Day!
