Is Your Important Computer Data Backed Up?

by Scott Gaffan on November 21, 2008

When was the last time you backed up your important computer data? Many of us have extremely important and irreplaceable information stored on our computer hard drives.  Digital photographs and video, purchased downloaded music, purchased downloaded software, important banking or other financial information, important business documents, email correspondence and our client contact lists just to name a few. Unfortunately a great majority of computer users don’t realize the importance of backing up their data until they loose it all. We all seem to have the “ it won’t happen to me” attitude.

Each year thousands of computers are lost or stolen.  Hard drives can crash at anytime without warning and it can be extremely expensive to try to recover data from a failed drive. Only you can judge how important your computer data is to you.

There are many options for backing up your data, CD, DVD, External Hard drives, Flash memory and online servers.

If you are looking for a good online back-up solution, check out the two sources listed below. They’re fast, secure and relatively inexpensive.

Don’t put off backing up your important computer data until it’s too late!
