When a YouTube video for one of your listings is created and posted to YouTube, you will receive an email alerting you that it has been posted along with links to download the tour so that you can post them elsewhere and to quick tips on how to post to more video sites manually!
We have been posting video slide shows of all of our listings to YouTube for search engine optimization of our property addresses. When buyers search for one of our properties by entering it’s address in a Google search box, they should have more results returned because the video is catalogued along with all of the other sites that we send our listings to. This gives our properties more exposure to potential buyers and yet another way that we can out shine our competition in our Listing Presentations.
In the past few months I have received numerous questions about our YouTube video posting and I thought that it might help if I shared some of the details of the process.
Each day we pull any of our listings that have been active for 10 days and have a minimum of 6 photos attached from the MLS’s, create the slide show and post it to YouTube. Make sure that you are posting all additional images to your MLS within the first 10 days of the listing and check the listing to make sure that all of the correct images are posted in the correct order. Agents that list in multiple MLS systems should check their listing photos in each individual MLS. You can see samples of some of our YouTube videos at www.youtube.com/realestateonevideo
