Realcomp allows 25 photos to be uploaded to your listings!

by Scott Gaffan on July 8, 2008

Realcomp has upgraded its listing manager and you can now load up to 25 photos per listing. Each day we receive a feed of listing data from Realcomp containing listing information and photos.  We publish this information to the Real Estate One Family of companies web sites everyday.  If you modify one of your listings in the RealEstateOne.net Listing Manager, we then block certain updates from replacing the changed data on your listing.  This way if you changed information on REO.com the MLS feed would not erase your changes.  This means that if you have changed or added photos, remarks, virtual tours or floor plans on one of your listings in the REO Listing Manager, it will not receive updates from the MLS feed.

For example if you have changed or added photos, remarks, tours or floor plans in the REO Listing Manager and then you added more photos to Realcomp then those new photos would have to be added to the REO Listing manager as well.

Or, If you add a new listing to Realcomp and add 25 photos to that listing and you do not change the listing in the REO listing manager then the 25 photos will flow to REO.com.

We are looking into having these features separated so that each item can be modified individually.

Open House Information is now flowing from the MLS’s

If you enter open house information on a listing in the MLS, this info will now flow through to REO.com and Realtor.com.   We have also added a check box in the listing manager just above the open house section that will override the MLS open house data if you would prefer to change it there and to block the MLS open house feed.  We have cleared any listings that had past open houses on them so all of your newly added open houses should now start flowing in from your MLS.
